Abstract

Islamic Jurisprudence is an art in which such universalism and omnifarious is found that every moment of every Muslim's life is fully connected with it and without it, human life would be considered incomplete. There are many schools of thoughts regarding Islamic jurisprudence, in which four are much famous and known by every Muslim. Some of them gained the most fame in some countries among these four schools of thoughts. In the following lines, out of these four schools of jurisprudence, the jurisprudence of Hanbali and its pioneer Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal (may Allah have mercy on him) is being quoted. It is also narrated in this article that how was Hanbali jurisprudence compiled and what were the reasons that led to the beginning of Hanbali Jurisprudence. The famous students and disciples of Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal and their brief introduction are also presented in this article.
